Christ spent His time on Earth serving and helping others. True disciples of Jesus Christ do the same. The Savior said, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35).
Many of my goals for 2011 revolve around service.
I know it sounds easy, seeing that as a mother I am constantly serving my kids... as a wife, I serve my husband. But there is a lot more to it. We have opportunities in this lifetime to “bear one another's burdens, that they may be light,” to “mourn with those that mourn,” and to “comfort those that stand in need of comfort” (Mosiah 18:8-9).
Am I doing my part?
